Dr. Smith also uses the idea that gnats cannot become bats which cannot become monkeys as proof for evolution and claims that changes like that are impossible and never been observed. Well Dr. Smith tell me when the French language first appeared? French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and a few other languages are derived from Latin (the language he claims to know). Through the centuries after the Romans had spread their Latin to much of Europe different dialects appeared and then became different languages. If you watched this whole process you will not be able to discern exactly when each of our modern languages appeared. The English colonized a good part of the globe and at this time we see British English developing into different dialects in America, Canada and Australia. 1000 yrs. from now all the world languages will be impossible for us to understand and we would not be able to pin point exactly when they changed.
