So in the Very first version of the Tamriel Rebuilt mod, there was a creature named Esurio Viridius. It was a venus fly trap enemy of sorts. Supposedly it was going to be a unique creature for a quest of some sort. However, it ended up being dropped in Antediluvian Secrets because it was deemed too buggy.

The primary issue was that it used the movement method of "None" which has problems. Creatures with the movement of none are stationary but cannot attack back when angered. The Kwana Queen is an example of a creature in the Vanilla game that uses the None movement

What I did here to get this working was I made its movement type walking. At first it ignored my methods of getting it to stay stationary. However, I eventually found out that I had to give it a burden curse to keep it from moving. Gnomey on TR's IRC channel suggested it before and I was fiddling around with it. However, what I was doing wrong before this was I set it as an ability. Oops. Took me a bit to realize that there was a Curse option on the spellmaking menu in the CS too XD.

For extra precaution it has a burden of 6000 so it's not going anywhere. It can still attack, but its range is limited. The cool thing about it is that it uses its roots to attack the target. As for the textures, they need a lot of reworking. It uses textures for another object for some strange reason. Anyway, enjoy.
