Mort The Chicken | Blind/Longplay/Playthrough [PS1]
Little Kid: Mom I want to have a good adventure game like Spyro
Mom: We already have a good adventure game at home
The good adventure game at home:
Mort the Chicken on Playstation 1*
I played this game when I was younger, never made pass the fifth levels.
I was surprise when I beat the game under 2 hours, I might have miss some secrets/bonus levels. (I heard that there is 21 levels in total, I miss some coins so I guess I miss some secrets levels)
If you thought Spyro was one of the easiest platformer, you were wrong.
This game make Spyro looks like the Dark Souls of platformer, Crash Bandicoot is like landing a man on the moon compared to this game.
The game is EZ PZ but the control are CLUNKY AF.
One of the rare games that I didin’t die/fail one time during the whole playthrough.
(Don’t mean by that, that I am good, I mean the games is REALLY easy.)
A toddler could make a better and harder level design than what this game have.
It could have been not so bad if the level design was more challenging and more complex than having wooden blocks over other wooden blocks.
And maybe, just maybe a little bit longer than 1:30h-2h.
Gotta say that I like the humour in this game (talking about the short cinematics/Loading screens pictures).
The game is kinda colorful too, the background remind me of Spyro a little bit.
Overall, I'm pretty sure they were high on some grains while making this weird game.
I still kinda like this game even if it’s not really good.
Still not ever going to redo it.
''Fun'' fact: Mort in French mean Dead, I always wonder why the chicken's name was Dead when I was younger and didin't understood english and that it was a proper nouns, lol.
*Running on Ps1 emulator, that's why there is some sounds/graphics bugs.
