After beating this guy who I was playing against a few times I had to cut our matches short because he started saying all this CRAZY toxic shit and I even reported him. (I don't know why my recorder didn't pick up him on the mic) See this is exactly why over the years I shy away from online matches where chat is essential. Dude was going on and on about how I pick the characters because I know I can spam moves with them and I suck so bad blah blah blah. I knew it was gonna get worse and more personal so I exited from the match before he could go there. Truth is I barely play this game and really don't know how to use the characters! I was shocked I actually won. Why start talking shit to somebody online who you don't even know? I guess its easy behind a mic where you can remain anonymous. Admittedly its annoying that Nintendo is so weird about voice chat on their machines but in hindsight its understandable. Even one of their CEO's played some online games and mentioned how toxic people can be. Anyway this is why we can't have nice things. There is ALWAYS one or some bad apples who ruin things for everybody else.
