After a long pause I have returned to MKX with Mileena. She is one of those characters, that are easy to punish, when used wrong, but used right and with great hit confirmation, she is a force to be recond with. Ravenous and Piercing variation are pretty much the same, gameplay wise. Piercing has bigger damage and low projectile, but she loses some of her range and gains a lot of minus frames on block, so I would have to say, that Ravenous is a better choice for aggressive rushdown style. Overall she has great mix up abilities, but she really lacks range on neutrals and speed is also a little issue against top tier characters. Her actual potential is hidden in Ethereal variation, but it requires a lot more time and learning than any other variation. That teleport is almost as good as Tanyas, because you can choose to delay it and with EX version, it is instant (like Raiden "Displacer"). Using it correctly, you can evade any attack in always punish with a combo. Sadly, the learning curve is huge with this one...maybe someone has the time and patience to turn Ethereal into killing machine.
