Mortal Kombat: Zara, the evil Amazon Queen DESTORYS Jax, Sonya & Kitana For The Magical Swords
Jax, Sonya and Kitana must obtain a pair of powerful magical swords before Zara, the evil Amazon queen, can get her hands on them.
Newly revived Shang Tsung tries to weaken Raiden with the help of an alien orb that can control the elements. The Warrior King, a dimension-hopping guardian of the orb, only has a cameo. Part 3 of 4 of the Warrior King crossover.
The Warrior King was created by Will Meugniot as part of a USA Network stunt in which the character appeared in all four of their then-running animated programs (in order of appearance: Street Fighter: The Animated Series: The Warrior King (1996) , The Savage Dragon: Endgame (1996) , Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm: Resurrection (1996) and Wing Commander Academy: Recreation (1996) ) on the same day, November 16, 1996. Of the four shows, Savage Dragon is the only one that's not based on a video game, but on a comic book. Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm episode only features the orb, although the Warrior King does have a blink and you'll miss it completely silent cameo at the very end of the episode, but he's almost completely obscured by a shadow and thus nigh unrecognizable. The character was not used again after this epic crossover event.
