I've just had my first realtime LLM convo, and I have to say, it was intriguing and unsettling.

This was with Moshi, which seems to be a new (apparently?) open source realtime generative AI chat. You can test it in up-to 5 minute sessions and download the audio or video file. Here's the video. I know these systems are not truly AI, and this one is especially fumbly because it's set up to process and speak at the same time. But interacting with one is still really trippy.
