MOST EPIC: Ruthlessbro wins the initial team fight and gets cocky in Wintergrasp!
8Blizzard 1000% screwed us on the Matchmaking process once AGAIN! We have a total of 4 Healers while they have 11, not to mention their crazy amount of 6 Tanks, almost half of their team are Healers & Tanks. If that's not totally trying to stack the deck, I don't know what is. It was called to engage them in the middle in the first team fight, but we had some people jump of and were heading to Sunken Ring, so that split cost us the team fight. We did get a few kills off and some even got rank. I needed 1 more kill to get Rank 1 for Catapults, but I killed one of their Catapults going down the middle and finished the Druid inside as well.
Then we noticed that they were still heading down South, they had no vehicles down there, and no Workshops capped yet. So I made the call to start building at Sunken Ring and head to their base to draw some of them back there so we could get the rest of the Rank 2 kills. Everyone killed their Cannons pretty good, but then there was no way for me to get into their base anymore, so I went to the North East Wall to Shadowstrike from Stealth to the Cannon there, but I made a fatal mistake, I should not have wasted Vanish here, I should have killed the Cannon and gotten a Re-Stealth and not wasted it. Because I would need it later, and I did not have it.
That's OK, as I was running back from the Graveyard, I got the last kill for Rank 2, built a Demolisher at Broken Temple and then started heading to their base. They had people on top of the Towers and Walls shooting rockets at our vehicles, pretty smart idea, I'll give 'em credit there. But the Wall was less than 10% and there was no way we were not getting it down.
Meanwhile, their offense is still killing Towers, but they are not stopping to cap the West Spark or East Spark Workshops ... BIG mistake there as we could build 12 Vehicles!!! While the majority of their team was down South killing the Towers, we were taking down the Inner Wall. Once the Inner Wall goes down, it's pretty much GG as we had enough Vehicles inside to finish the Main Entrance, and we had enough people to clear most of their ground troops so they had to run back from the Graveyard to give us enough time to basically /laugh in their face.
They may have won the initial team fight due to our split and Blizzard's Matchmaking system, but they lost the Battle due to their cockyness and S.A.S. just goes to show you, you may be down, you may be out matched, but you can still out smart the enemy team! May all of your Battlegrounds be as EPIC as this one!
P.S. This is a PROPER way to STUNT in Wintergrasp. You can't really STUNT while you are Defending in Wintergrasp because the map is too heavily OP for the Defending team. But while attacking, you can pull some gems out of those frozen rocks in Wintergrasp!
