5My first extra clear of Touhou 9: Phantasmagoria of Flower View, done on 30.12.2017.
One more down. Missing hards as of right now are UFO and LoLK, missing extras are SA, UFO and LoLK.
Komachi is a useless piece of s***. Her shot is so weak that even those spirits become an additional threat due to her not being able to kill them before they touch you.
Getting points for more lives depends on randomness. Sometimes you get 600k, sometimes 3mio. Getting more lives doesn't matter anyway, because more lives mean that you have to fight longer, which most probably leads to a death due to the enemy flooding the screen with stuff while you are running out of spellpower.
Some luck like at 4:31 is needed. It's not hard to get to episode 6 without losing a life, but everything from there on is just a big pile of steaming...
Anyway, I'm glad that I can check this off my list, cause this unfair game caused a lot of rage.
