Prioritize Body+4, do not buy anything else other than Handle A/B + 1. Even if this means that you will be unable to win the first race, as long as you make it in the podium you will be able to afford Body+4, giving you a fighting chance at victory. Then go for the 4800CC engine and then Hi-Turbo, then get the rest of the upgrades.

This was the first playthrough recorded on the Linux port of BizHawk 2.6.1 and was encoded on its Windows counterpart. I actually started the recording while doing a chkdsk on the Windows drive.
