I tried to record it again but on level 19 I got a sound buffer overflow error and that was that!!!

Nothing like C64 Motormania this is much better, it's sort of a homebrew adaptation of C64 Power Drift actually :D Quite easy, just don't forget to go into high gear at the start or time will run out!
