Let's play Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord! Mount & Blade II has been in the making for years and it's finally available in early access. To make things even more interesting, I'm playing this using Shadow, the cloud gaming computer service that actually works. None of this is sponsored stuff or an ad--I bought the game, I pay for the service, and I'm just trying it all out to see what it's like. So far, Bannnerlord is a lot of fun, and Shadow, well, it just works.

Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord gameplay features all the good stuff from the first Mount and Blade (all 37 of them) and probably even more cool stuff. Honestly, I haven't gotten that far just yet, but what I have seen of the combat is it's brutal, fast, difficult, and enjoyable. On top of that, nice little touches like combining all of the merchants into one makes it easier to buy/sell equipment/loot and get on with playing. And then there are the graphical enhancements. Sure, it's no Doom Eternal, but it still looks pretty good. Overall, if you like Mount and Blade, I think you'll like this. Oh, and it runs great on the basic Shadow computer.
