I compare a few things in this video:
- First, that both games feature a similar momentum mechanic, and doing a u-turn on a dime causes your character to stagger.
- Second, both games still allow you to make snappy turns with the mouse, as long as the turns aren't too much of a turn (90 degrees in this case is acceptable).
- Fourth, both games allow you to do u-turns without staggering, as long as the u-turn isn't too sharp.

And now, this is where the problems start:
- Fifth, TD2 allows you to do u-turns on a dime if you use the mouse instead of the keyboard, while MWH still makes your character stagger, since the u-turn is too tight, and it doesn't matter if it was done with a mouse or a keyboard.
- Sixth, this allows you to move the mouse around rapidly, drastically changing your characters direction without ever slowing down in TD2, while MHW still lets you look around and rotate quickly, but if you attempt to rotate at an insane speed, you will stagger.
- Lastly, this is what causes the chicken dance to be possible in TD2, by continuously spamming rapid and random mouse movements, so your character moves erratically. In MHW, attempting this causes your character to continuously stagger over and over again, as the continuous rotations keep triggering the staggers.

I hope this shows how a game can restrict insane movement patterns without being too invasive, by simply punishing attempts at moving in ways that are unnaturally too fast by abusing high sensitivity settings, but still allowing for your normal range of motions for everyday players to be unaffected.
