The world of movie criticism is a big one. Filled with many different players. The "hot take" critic. The corporate shill. The armchair twitter expert. The outrage YouTuber. Then there are those of us who are just trying to put out honest movie criticism without getting lumped into one of these buckets. It's a tough balancing act. If you put out too many negative reviews in a row, you are looked at as a hater. If you give a film the majority hates a glowing review, you are looked at as being paid off. If you hurt a viewers feelings, they might leave your channel and unsubscribe. You might turn off a whole chunk of viewers based on a harsh opinion. I've always tried my best to be fair and honest with my movie reviews. I wish I could say the same for others.
