Whats Up guys, Im Tatiana Diana with Clevver Movies and Ive got the latest on the Netflix style movie pass!
I am SAD to report that reps from MoviePass have confirmed that they have CANNED the moviepass concept and have canceled their test run in San Fran this weekend.
The moviepass's plan was to allow subscribers to attend an unlimited amount of theatrical releases for $50 a month...too good to be true is what I first thought when hearing the news, and now the fact is....that may just have been the case.
Reps from MoviePAss claim this is just a "temporary hiatus" but we are thinking it will be a long time before this service is officially up and running considering 2 major theatre chains AMC and Landmark don't seem interested.
