We have a casting couch update from GI Joe 2: Cobra Strikes coming up on clevver movies!

Dwayne Johnson, AKA THE ROCK has just signed on the GI Joe sequel as "roadblock." Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura descirbes Johnsons role as one of the two lead characters! He had this to say, "It's a full-on lead role. In a way he and snake eyes...their stories are really dynamic and very important."

di Bonaventura also promises NINJA fans will LOVE this flick as there is a tremendous amount of ninja moves!

GI Joe 2: Cobra Strikes is directed by Jon M Chu and also stars Channing Tatum. The flick begins shooting this summer and is set to hit the theatres August 10th 2012.
