Mower Mayhem is a retro arcade racing game that combines the graphics and thrilling time-attack gameplay of DAYTONA USA with the job system from Crazy Taxi, and sets it inside of a lawnmowing theme. It puts you inside of one of 2 lawnmowers, each with different handling.

The game takes place in a suburban neighborhood set in New Zealand. You start out with only 1 minute on the clock, but you can add time to the clock by cutting big patches of grass, and every area you clear awards you with bonus points, as well as a big time bonus. The more time that you have, the more damage you'll be able to cause.

The game was created as a part of a big course by a team of five students from Yoobee School of Design, Wellington. If you hadn't known this before, you would probably think this is an official SEGA game. It perfectly captures the look, feel, and thrill of the classic SEGA Model 2 era racing games, and it makes for a very enjoyable experience.
