Today we're making some headway on our 1st cut silage. We're baling up approximately 100 acres or so of silage, with the intention of selling it later in the year for some additional revenue. I got in touch with a local contractor who sent over their near new Case Optum and Kuhn square bale wrapper to come and wrap the bales as they came off the Krone Big, its great to be pushing ahead with on now, we've got a window of about 3 days of good weather before we're due some more rain, so we may try and cut a little extra grass for silage if we have time, but as always, the weather is against us!
