Mr Dork - How this could have been a Great Touch Screen Game
http://www.netbooknews.com There are a lot of games out for netbooks or even just traditional data entry with keyboards. I found this game at http://www.appup.com and its a game that could be easily ported over to a tablet with only a few modifications.
If you are wondering if you game has what it takes to be a tablet game, here are a few hints.
Board Games make great tablet games.
Anything that involves dragging something around the screen. (moving objects or drawing lines)
Identification Games or Find it
Uses a camera (think ahead, the iPad is just one device, most Android Tablets are coming out with at least front facing if not dual cameras)
I'm not partial to accelerometer games, so far no one has done one where I don't feel silly playing and the game play isn't that fun that I want to feel silly. So those games need to thought out, shaking as a part of game play could be a fun way to incorporate it if you really want to use it.
I'm not getting into the technical aspects of developing for games just the idea's, i'll leave the technical stuff to you. ;)
