After a hard days work helping out the inhabitants of Windmill Village, Mr Tinker decides to play a fan ROM hack of Sonic 2 named "Big's Fishing Derby". Little does he know, that someone has taken an interest in turning the handyman back to the mad genius he once was. Is this the end of Mr Tinker? And what else does this newcomer have to offer for the Eggman Empire?


Mr Tinker is a fictional character created for the IDW comics series of SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
After his recent defeat from Sonic, Dr Eggman survived his encounter but lost his memory to the point where he was unable to even remember his own name. He would then encounter a village who locked him up, only for him to break out and reinforce his own cell. The villagers nursed his wounds but not before testing the amnesiac Eggman until they concluded that he truly had no recollection of his past evil deeds. Eggman would repay the villagers kindness with a friendly demeanor and repair anything they brought to him large or small.

Thus Dr Eggman the mad scientist bent on world domination was no more, and had been given a new life as a humble village handyman simply known as: Mr Tinker
