The milestone sequel to cult classic Disciples: Sacred Lands, Disciples II made huge strides in quality of life and overall presentation, improving the best aspects of the game while arguably sacrificing nothing. The core game elements of the fantasy TBS genre remain at the forefront, including stronghold construction, army recruitment, and leaders who have a big effect on gameplay. Likewise still present are the things that made the original Disciples great: RPG-style party-based combat, branching unit evolutions, and an unforgettable grim style. I've sunk even more time into this game than its predecessor, and I'm really looking forward to revisiting it again in a way I've never played it: By sharing it with you!
