Hi, so here's what's going on, I, the only programmer got bitten in the ass by adulthood and responsibilities, so I was gone for a long time and the project went into hiatus again

While I was missing in action, the assets team was still active, along with Brainbot (i bet they were still planning things too!) so there's really a bunch of assets that are ready, it's just that...there's nobody to program it. . . I heard that this fangame project is cursed when it comes to programmers, nobody wants to pick it up

So...here I am again, rewriting everything from scratch. The coding was hot garbage and unoptimized, but this time I actually went through a bunch of tutorials to learn GML. Also we didn't have a proper production pipeline to begin with (that's a mistake on me and brainbot) so we were really just winging it (and that caused a lot of issues, like making actual levels without finishing every basic things first)

Anyway, I didn't want this to be the Yandere Simulator of the Metal Slug community, so I am going to post updates here when I have something to show, squeezing this to my free time whenever I can (having a job is tiring)

Now i just need to avoid getting the virus so I can continue working on this (y'all too, stay safe)
