MSFS Add-On Review - Flightbeam Denver International
Hot out of the gate, Flightbeam were amongst the first to market with scenery for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator with their release of their rendition of Denver International Airport.
Having curated it for FSX and Prepar3D previously, they are definitely familiar with this field. Given that this airport was also amongst on of Asobo's "handcrafted airports" as part of the Premium Deluxe package, the team at Flightbeam definitely had high standards to live up to. For me this is an important and iconic airport, having transited through there many times and spending time in Colorado.
Unfortunately, while their price point is spot on and sets the standard for future releases by all developers, the airport itself appears to fall woefully short. While there are definitely enhancements worthy of note in this release, and the addition of some icons and branding around the airport, the overall product falls far short of what is delivered by Asobo in the Premium Deluxe package.
