The new 12th Intel generation was announced and with it the new z690 motherboard.
On today, in this new First Contact we’ll be looking at new MSI Pro Z690 A DDR4 motherboard designed for new 12th Generation Intel cpus, which joins the family of numerous z690 motherboard produced by the Taiwanese company.
New MSI Pro Z690 A DDR4 is an ATX form factor motherboard.
As all the new z690 boards it features Intel LGA1700 socket that supports the 12th Generation Intel Core i9, i7, i5, i3 cpus, Intel Pentium Gold, Intel Celeron cpus.
On the contrary to its twin, which supports ddr5 ram (MSI Pro Z690 A), this motherboard is equipped with four DDR4 DIMM sockets Dual channel memory architecture that support 32 GB single DIMM capacity up to a maximum to 128 GB for four dimm.
It support DDR4 from 2133 MHz to 3200 MHz and to 5200 in overclocking.
Storage options includes six SATA III ports and four M2 slot and as expansion slot 3 PCie x 16 slots.
The motherboard is available from November 4 on retail at price of about $ 220.
