【MSX】USAS - Mohenjo Daro - GBA arrange【Deflemask】
I FINALLY DID IT!! This is it! My first ever Game Boy Advance music arrange!
How did I do it? Well, I found out that I could do a few things more with the PCM of the arcade module from Deflemask, including re-pitching samples, and by using my previous trick for looping samples in Deflemask I could load just one sample for each instrument (in this case only 1 sample for the lead melody) and re-pitch that to be the notes that I wanted! The other samples are just drums...
Pair that with Wavetable baselines on the GB Channel 3, white noise hi-hats and square-wave harmony and there you have it! GBA-like music made in Deflemask!!
The lead sample was ripped from the Ninja Warriors on the SNES, and lowered in quality slightly and the drum samples were ripped from Batman on the PC engine...
I asked a friend of mine who can rip samples from GBA games to rip me some samples from Castlevania Circle of the Moon and possibly Mario Kart Super Circuit so that I'll have more GBA-accurate samples for my future GBA music arranges done in Deflemask, and I'm also hoping that Delek will add a sampler soundchip in future versions of Deflemask so that making sampled music on the tracker won't be such a pain in the arse (which honestly, it wasn't nearly as bad as learning OpenMPT which is what I was TRYING to do before)
Oh well, this is my first one so I hope this isn't too bad...
I still hope you enjoy it though...
