13Resellers, flippers, the secondary rogue markets has taken the collectable world by storm, not just in popularity, but it has been growing in large numbers. what started revolution during the pandemic has simmered down for a few years, but the collectables market keep on growing and selling and people keep on buying! thus the demand is still there and people are trying to alleviate their 9 - 5 jobs to have a secondary or completely separate income. and this has caused some issues. it bread some scalpers and it's apart of the growth of the reseller community not all of it- it makes a competitive buying market that has people buying up fresh product to force a higher price on brand new products, assuming and guessing the demand for a product. and the weird thing is in a recession people be buying all the stuff and people still buying? But there are some good in the community, people are rehoming older products, making sure the people who are looking for desired products that are harder to find from times before. In fact if it weren't for the people going out and finding some of this old junk at yard sales, flea markets ECT. I would not have the cool stuff I own today! there is a reality about what is a good thing for some is a punishment for others. How does this balance out? We are no "Robin Hoods" in this scenario and in this Capitalist society you are gonna make that money, where you can. Magic the gathering is getting ridiculous to find outside the Local Game Store and the LGS also is trying to be competitive in this nature- IT's all to confusing? Where did we fall? When did it collapse? Lets et into this!
