This game was hard but a ton of fun, and its free! So I recommend checking it out.

As Nyk explains in the video, different objects can be harvested and used as you upgrade your equipment. You start off with rock and trees and then can work up to collecting other types of ores and wood. Monsters come out every night but can still live during the daytime. They can break all your builds and they progressively become more dangerous.
