The following match is dedicated to my MUGEN bro, Dustin 'Seadragon' Fike. Very recently, he made a shout out to me in the form of two videos. Both of the videos showcase him facing off my current mains, Asuna and Eri Hasumi. I'm flattered by his dedications (why he did it... is kinda beyond me). It's cool to know that he's not entirely in the dark when it comes to anime-esque fighters, for he has done his research. And so I've decided to repay my respect in kind.

Now let's get this show on the road. My team consists of the usual duo, Asuna Yuuki from the hit light novels, Sword-Art Online, and Eri Hasumi from the indie game, Vanguard Princess.

Asuna was created by writer, Reiki Kawahara. She is the main female character in the death game, SAO. To be honest, I knew very little about Asuna until she was featured in Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax, and thanks to Something Witty Entertainment's SAO Abridged (which is superb, BTW. And said series' writing is better than that of the actual anime adaptation by leaps and bounds).

Eri Hasumi hails from Vanguard Princess, a very VERY impressive brainchild of amateur programmer, Tomoaki 'Suge9' Sugeno. It was confirmed that he actually was a Capcom employee... and he briefly worked for SNK as well. He was a sprite designer in Rockman & Forte (Megaman & Bass in the US),the King Of Fighters 99 and its Gameboy Advanced port, The King Of Fighters EX: Howling Blood.

Eri is a... (fabulous) super soldier who was created by the dreaded organization, Blade Noa. Her combat style is apparently Kali (if the tonfas weren't obvious enough). She is a offensive character, with 4 special attacks to overwhelm the opponents ranging from rekkas, an anti-air, a unique move to pressure opponents, and a hopping attack that is pretty useful for counters and footsies. She can be a real pest when she wants to be.

Other than that, they're both pretty fun to play as. But I do need to brush up my skills for my other mains, Jin Kazama and Yukina Himeragi. Also, check out my bro's channel. You won't be disappointed.

Now... back to the drawing board.
