These two characters have several things in common:\n\n* They are popular (or infamous) in Japan. So well-known, their games were added to the Virtual Console and were featured in the Japanese video game show, Game Center CX (known as Retro Game Master outside of Japan). I saw a video of a group of Japanese playing Transformers: Convoy no Nazo while laughing every time Ultra Magnus explodes. Spelunker himself is also seen in several Japanese fan-made stuff like the Michael Quest and Natraps X Flash animations for example.\n\n* They die with one hit.\n\n* They play their own music, even if you try to turn on your favorite music, they would still be heard.\n\nBGM: First stage of Transformers: Convoy no Nazo and the main theme of Spelunker.
