Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter reprise their respective roles as protagonists Peter Parker / Spider-Man and Miles Morales / Spider-Man from Spider-Man (2018) and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Other cast members reprising their roles include Laura Bailey as Mary Jane Watson, Darin De Paul as J. Jonah Jameson, Jacqueline Piñol as Rio Morales, Griffin Puatu as Ganke Lee, Mark Rolston as Norman Osborn, and Stephen Oyoung as Martin Li / Mister Negative. Jim Pirri provides the voice and motion capture for Sergei Kravinoff / Kraven the Hunter, the leader of a faction of mercenaries called the "Hunters", whose members include Maxwell "Max" Markham / Grizzly and seek to hunt super-powered beings, including the Spider-Men.[10] Mark Whitten portrays Curt Connors / Lizard, an Oscorp scientist who is transformed into a giant reptilian creature;[11] Connors previously appeared in the mid-credits scene of Miles Morales.[12] Additional antagonists who were referenced in prior entries make full appearances throughout the game's story and side content, including Flint Marko / Sandman (Leandro Cano), a lowly burglar who, through an accident, gained the ability to turn into molecules of sand and manipulate them at will; Dmitri Smerdyakov / Chameleon, a criminal and master of disguise, as well as Kraven's half-brother; and Quentin Beck / Mysterio (Noshir Dalal), a visual effects artist and reformed criminal who is head developer of a virtual reality studio after his venture as a spirit medium in the first game's comic tie-in Spider-Man: Velocity.[13][7] Chad Doreck provides the voice and motion capture for Cletus Kasady, a nihilistic cult leader known to his subordinates as "The Flame", who seeks to perform a demonic ritual to bring about "The Crimson Hour", marking the coming of a red monster in ancient folklore known as "Carnage".
