A Hat in Time is a platform game developed by Gears for Breakfast and published by Humble Bundle for macOS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game was made using Unreal Engine 3 and funded through a Kickstarter campaign, which doubled its fundraising goals within its first two days. It is inspired by earlier 3D platformers for the Nintendo 64 and GameCube such as Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and Super Mario Sunshine. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and macOS in October 2017, and was released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One two months later.
