MuseScore just updated itself to version 4.5.2, so as a playback test, I updated my piano duet of "Tuning Up," the original theme to "The $10,000 Pyramid." The popular game show has seen increases in dollar amounts over the years, and currently enjoys a run on ABC as "The $100,000 Pyramid" with Michael Strahan as emcee. The original emcee, however, was Dick Clark, who tragically passed away back in 2012 after he suffered a stroke several years earlier. It's hard to believe it's been over a decade since that happened.

I didn't try to do anything fancy to emulate the organ and guitar solos you'd find in the original recording; I just kept the original concepts of the song for this piano duet.

Original music composed by Ken Aldin
Not to be confused with the later theme written by Bob Cobert
Pyramid franchise © Sony Pictures Television and everybody else who owns the rights, and created by Bob Stewart.
