A very unusual take on the puzzle platformer, Mushroom 11 gameplay doesn't allow you direct control of your character. Instead you have to take advantage of the organism's growth mechanic.
By erasing bits of your mushroom body (using the mouse), you make new bits pop out on the other side. By careful pruning you can shuffle or glide across the landscape, avoding the various traps, liquids and monsters that block your way!
This video is a hands-on look at Mushroom 11 gameplay highlights of chapter one and chapter two to give you an idea of how the puzzles work and the end of level bosses you'll have to face.
Mushroom 11 is a veteran of festivals such as Indiecade, PAX and SXSW, and now it finally gets a proper release on Steam for PC, Mac and SteamOS/Lixus. It's also available on GOG and the Humble Store!
