There isn't much reason to go over 25 unless you're doing really long Tithe sessions, but a 25 route is also in the video--just ignore the 3 red patches.
I don't know how this compares to other methods, but I can't imagine it getting any simpler. You can probably dumb this down for 27 or 25 fruits, like ignoring the manual tile pathing and not doing as much (or any) manual watering.
(Not shown in video) I also recommend cranking up interface sizes in plugins like "Stretched Mode", to be bigger than this video, because it brings the inventory closer to the center of the screen for less mouse travel, and also makes the inventory items easier to click.
