It will be a Pay-Per-View caliber, blockbuster of a main event as Hollywood Hulk Hogan takes on The Big Show in a #1 Contender's Match to decide who will challenge “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair '88 for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship '88!

The WCW World Tag Team Champions, The Outsiders playfully argue about how many tag team partners have failed Sting '99 on his quest to bring the WCW World Tag Team Titles back to WCW. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall have been so entertained that they're offering Sting '99 an opportunity to challenge them for the WCW World Tag Team Titles at WCW Halloween Havoc.
Sting '99 accepts Hall and Nash's offer and says that he doesn't care how many partners it's taken him to beat the nWo and he doesn't care if he has to keep fighting them all by himself. Sting '99 will never stop until he brings them down and keeps them down. Although he adds that with The Blade Runners back and with The Ultimate Warrior by his side it's not going to be much longer for The Outsiders to get taken down!
INTERVIEW: Bret “Hitman” Hart feels that The Blade Runners should've faced The Hart Foundation to determine who'd challenge The Outsiders for the WCW World Tag Team Championship at WCW Halloween Havoc but if Bret and Anvil have to wait for The Blade Runners and The Outsiders to tear each other apart at Halloween Havoc then so be it. The Hart Foundation will come knocking on the door of whoever holds the titles!
LAST WEEK ON NITRO: The WCW Cruiserweight Champion Mustafa Ali turned down the insistent challenge of a furious former champion in Mike Kanellis, instead opting to grant Rey Mysterio the opportunity that he was continuously denied by then-champ Mike Kanellis: a WCW Cruiserweight Championship match. After a highly competitive match-up, Ali scored a major victory against Mysterio!
