After talking to the developer apparently i was being seen by the cameras at 1:17:58 so the guards were chasing me, however there is no indication of you being seen by the cameras. It did mention in the game that the camera's can spot you but because nothing happens when you are seen it's hard to tell if you have been spotted or not. It's only until you try to proceed to an area that you realise the guards are after you so i thought my game had glitched out. Not only that but honestly it was really difficult to interact with objects in this game and this is a point & click game so that's an important thing to get right! The mouse cursor was also really slow. I did like the artstyle and setting but i don't really want to play this again unless they add some improvements however this game is currently in early access so keep that in mind!
My Beautiful Paper Smile is a horror game about a child who is raised in a facility to wear a smile forever. In the facility, he and his friend are tested daily to make sure their smile doesn’t fade into sadness. Dodge, run and survive your way through this dark adventure.
