My dumb adventures in Supermarket Simulator - Day Two
1Welcome back to my store in Supermarket Simulator! We open today with me placing a few ceiling lights and checking in with my cashier buddy to ensure he’s ready to start the day. I get triggered about the max 10 items you can buy from the supplier at any one time which is incredibly stupid and arbitrary from a gamer standpoint! I don’t say that to offend any other gamors or developers but I did find this and other limitations of this game to become increasingly maddening.
I continue to mumble to myself incessantly as well as run into the tiny fence outside my storage area. I take some time to sing a little Darondo while also noting the colorful characters in the store including the woman with the tramp stamp, potential Jesus, and lady in the beautiful purple dress. Meanwhile I have to keep doing the restocking working because my Restocker is both incompetent and slow. I get so angry that I start just tossing my empty boxes into the street; it’s someone else’s problem now! The cracks in the game also start to show as my customers begin to queue up through the window.
Once I start to realize this game is just a micromanagement simulator, I start to quickly become disillusioned by the luster of owning my own supermarket and start taking it out on my customers.
