This video was filmed in the summer of 2024, edited in the fall, and finally uploaded in the spring of 2025. I made a few tweaks before uploading, so there may be some inconsistencies due to the time gap between filming and now.

Not all of the “pros” I mention are necessarily pros—some are just things I’ve noticed when biking instead of driving.

Honestly, the main reason I went (mostly) car-free was the cost. I’m not a fan of car payments or paying a premium for insurance. Even though I have a higher-paying job now, I still don’t feel the need to buy a car. At the end of the day, I get by just fine without one—and honestly, it makes life a bit more fun.
