Some clarifications:
- I reset my N64 about three minutes into the footage to check if my saves are okay, video keeps going as normal after the color bars.
- around the nine minute mark I say "I got way into emulators in the mid-2010s" -- OBVIOUSLY I meant the mid-2000s. I'm not THAT much of a babby.
- the Panzer Dragoon Saga video I mention around 36 minutes is gonna be for Patreon, not a scripted main channel essay, don't want to get you guys's hopes up.
- at around one hour and nine minutes, I mention the Wii U with the seventh gen consoles; what I mean is that I use the Wii U to play Wii games.
One thing I completely neglected to talk about here that I completely forgot about is how important it was to me to footage from real retro hardware in the remakes video. There honestly isn't much to say on this point, I mostly just felt it'd be hypocritical of me to make such a big deal about accuracy and the full experience and all that and then not follow through on that with my footage. I wanted y'all to have first-hand examples of what these games are supposed to look and play like vs how they often appear in emulators and remasters, and I'm very happy with how that came out in the video.
