Nearing five years ago I was 16, bored out of my mind, and decided to check out one of the new games in Steam's free to play section. Spiral Knights turned out to be so much more than just another random download. This footage is equally hilarious and nostalgic for me. Seeing myself running around in the little cyclops helmet with proto gear brought on both laughter and some reminiscing. I'm sure that a lot of you also remember the "old" Spiral Knights and have a lot of fond memories tied to this wonderful game.

The video also serves as a reminder that you have to start somewhere in YouTube. Back when I recorded that footage I probably had around 50 subs and was using my laptops microphone for recording. If you've been on the fence about making YouTube videos I'd recommend just giving it a try. Remember, you can choose to not even upload the results, sometimes just being creative is enough.
