My first Successful Take-off and Immediate Landing at Dangerous Lukla Airport in Everest region
0Lukla Airport, also known as Tenzing-Hillary Airport, is a small airport located in the town of Lukla in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal. It is considered one of the most dangerous airports in the world due to its short runway, and steep gradient. The runway at Lukla Airport is only 527 meters long and has a steep gradient of 12%, making it challenging for pilots to land and take off safely. The airport is also surrounded by mountains, which can create unpredictable winds and turbulence, making flying conditions even more difficult.
Fortunately for me I have Microsoft Flight Simulator to test my piloting skill. After few attempts this is my first successful landing at Lukla Airport with Textron Cessna 208 B Grand Caravan EX.
