When Jasper doesn’t know the answer to a seemingly simple question, Mouse becomes convinced that Jasper’s mind must have frozen in the cold.  Jasper, meanwhile, uses patience, experimentation and finally some help from his friends via a good old-fashioned hop-think, and is finally able to solve the mystery.When Thunder figures out a good way to get unstuck from the knothole, he’s rewarded by success and a new "horn ring." Then, feeling confident after his first good idea, Thunder comes up with more good ideas, which he superstitiously attributes to his horn ring (Idea Maker) despite Rabbit's protests. It's only when Thunder loses his Idea Maker and nevertheless figures out where and how to retrieve it that he admits the "horn ring" might not have been the source of all his good ideas.
