"My God is Near" by Mac Lynch is one of my top Christian songs of all time. The message is quite simple. When we experience the presence of God in our lives, we are far more likely to be obedient and fulfill pur responsibilities as Christians. In contrast, when we ignore His presence, we are prone to do the opposite. It is also in the moments we feel Him near that we are comforted from hurt and loneliness. So, the desire of the song writer is to know His presence more, but even more so affirms that this presence is not simply wishful thinking. Since we have the Holy Spirit in us, each of us can say with confidence that they know "My God is Near".

They also have their own YouTube Channel. All vocal work was recorded by myself alone, as was the mixing. Not terrible for a first attempt at mixing with Audacity. Took a while but I think I've got the general hang of it. But, as they say, practice makes perfect.
