My Hard Drive Died...
6Back in January of this year, I began work on the sequel to Touhou Kourinden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria titled Touhou Kichouden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria 2. Unfortunately, within that year, I wore out the rest of the lifespan on the M.2 hard drive that was used to power my Windows-based workstation. I spent several days trying to recover the data from the drive and even put the device through multiple enclosures to see if it could read the data but had absolutely no luck. Ultimately, this led to me scheduling an appointment with the Geek Squad at the local Best Buy, and it will be up to them to determine its fate, which may be several weeks from now.
Luckily, all of the source code and assets for the game were backed up on GitHub, but some work was not committed, so I had to remake some attack animations and patch out any bugs that were still behind. Because of all this, some of my activity on this channel may be delayed for days or even weeks.
