I won a contest sponsored by Valve Software and IGN back in mid-January and had the opportunity to check out the Steam VR Developer Showcase on January 28.

While there I got to check out a bunch of games and experiences and met some awesome developers as well as the other contest winners.

Valve were awesome hosts and also awarded each of us with Vive Pre kits. We received them this week.

There wasn't really a schedule on when we'd receive them, so I was a bit unprepared and also suffering from a sinus infection. So the traditional unboxing also includes a subsequent reboxing while we await a new PC and clear a room for room scale gameplay.

I apologize for any random delirious commentary and mostly for omitting Vertigo Games' Arizona Sunshine from the list of experiences I described from the showcase!

Expect more streaming and videos of Vive gameplay both single player and multiplayer in the months ahead.
