Hello again.
Well I've been a Mental Controller in this game now for a long time. Personally I feel that Mental is one of, if not the most versatile of the Controlling Powers (Mental, Gadgets & Hard Light). And if you dual spec for DPS, the damage numbers it can put out are pretty high too.
In this video I'm just going to detail the ins and outs of basic Controlling with Mental. Generic Controlling (Using powers to debuff and repower the raid) is costly in power though. If you've come from Hard Light to Mental you will notice an increase in the power costs for the powers, but from Gadgets you should find it a little easier because of the three powers Gadgets is the most costly, followed by Mental and the cheapest being Light.
In part two, which I forgot to mention in this video, even once (derp!), I go through Crowd Controlling. Take a look at the annotations at the start of the video to link to that one if you want.
