My parents don't really do much gaming, but I brought the Switch over and let them try some things. My mom struggled with Lonely Mountain: Downhill because the left/right steering uses tank controls (steering is relative to the character, not the camera). She must've given a good 50 attempts before we moved on to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, where dad joined in. He seemed to pick up on the gyro sensitivity pretty quickly as compared to mom.
