My Remix of End of Dragons Music - Beginning of a Warrior's Journey
21As you have noticed, Arenanet decided not to do a special End of Dragons music remix, but it's okay - I've been planning to make my lo-fi/chillhop remix of first Shing Jea track, but decided to wait for new music to appear, and then decide what track I'd go for, and ever since I listened to "Beginning of a Warrior's Journey", I really wanted to make something special with it, and something some of you might have heard in my "but lo-fi" - the styles I tried with many tracks.
This time I also wanted to add some beat, and extra effects, but also some reverse music, as I put in other of my remixes - I love reversing the tracks and listening to them in that way, trying to find a intriguing part I would put in the final composition. :D
I wanted the whole remix to feel like a nice music journey, as the title says: at first there is the main motif of this track in reverse, then very edited, faster pace original motif plays with the beat, and it goes on for a little while
Then I wanted to introduce some extra effect as a signal of pace changing, and there is this undertone happening when violins play with the beat.
Then, it transitions slowly to reverse part with beat.
Soon after I wanted to make a little break, with a small portion of edited male vocals, which indicates the conclusion: reverse and original melodies combine with the beat.
There are 3 types of beats throughout the whole remix, to keep it more interesting. There are a lot of extra effects to give it more a lo-fi/chillhop texture.
