What I like
Switch 2 displays at 1080p, which the dock outputs up to 4K and can support up to 120fps
Mouse control is official, and we now know what the C button is for (chat). Plus, plug in the headphone jack for the Switch 2 Pro Controller
Mario Kart World looks slick (sounds like it's taken an open-world approach to some degree), along with Donkey Kong Bananza
Metroid Prime 4 Beyond is cross-gen (For Switch,2 we can choose 4K/60 FPS/HDR or TV/Monitor or 1080p/120 FPS/HDR)
BOTW & TOTK will have a Switch 2 edition
GameCube games are coming to Switch 2 (via Switch Online Service)
Some good 3rd party games coming to Switch 2 (Elden Ring, Path of the Goddess, Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition, and more)
Nintendo is teaming up with other developers to do games like Duskbloods, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment,
Square Enix shows some support for Switch 2 with Bravely Default HD Remaster & Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade
What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure
The price point (USD 449.99, though this could change due to tariffs) is going to be a tough pill to swallow for some (along with the accessories & games)
256 GB of internal storage is an improvement, but odds are storage will fill out quickly. Also, you can’t use your microSD card on your Switch 1 in your Switch 2 (you’ll have to use the new microSD Express card instead)
Paying to upgrade their Switch 1 game card may or may not appeal to everyone
