My Thoughts On Blade Runner
In 1997 Westwood Studios, the developers of Command & Conquer and Nox, developed and released their cyberpunk noir detective point & click adventure game, Blade Runner, based on Ridley Scot's classic and thought provoking film with the same name from 1982. It's a very complex and ambitious game for its time and even in today's standard. The game became digitally available on GOG in 2019 and the Enhanced Edition, developed by Nightdive Studios, was released in 2022. I played both the original and remastered versions to compare them and experience the different outcomes and endings the game offers. Did Westwood Studios understand the idea, feel and atmosphere of Ridley Scott’s dystopian, sci-fi noir masterpiece? And how does the Enhanced Edition compare to the original?
My name is Siperos and these are my thoughts on Blade Runner!
